MARKET REPORT
In general, the stamp market has been weaker for the past few months. As noted last March - we expected China prices to drop and they certainly had. Also, India and Middle East have lost some of their speculative or investment appeal. South American old stamps and new stamps remain strong. Scott catalog indicates that the years 1960 through 1980 had weak prices and we agree. The strongest eras are pre-1940 and the years 2005 through 2011. Market strength is graded on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest value assigned.
In 2008 we started a Market Report for the stamp market as we see it. This chart is a reflection of what our customers order and how market prices are moving. We have an excellent view of national and international stamp collecting interests and are glad to share thesee rough guidelines with you. Thank you for visiting my site.
